Do you also typically drop a feeding when you drop a nap?
Min is 9 months old, EBF, and he recently started doing more 2 naps day than 3… but not sure what to do with the feedings, since they are always tied to naps🤷♀️

We offered a bottle at the previous "nap time" but he refused itost of the time. My babe used the transition as a way to slowly wean from formula. We were okay with dripping it because he intakes a lot of "real" food

We dropped to Two naps a couple months ago and still offer the same amount of feeds

Have you started solids at all yet? We’ve been at 2 naps for months so we tie milk to naps but meals (breakfast lunch and dinner) stay pretty standard, just increase portions. She certainly eats more and more every day.
To add: some days she only gets one nap in (but a long one) and we just give the milk she’d typically have either way.

I’m EBF, we dropped a feed when she dropped her naps and there was an increase in solid food intake. But thing is mine wakes up at night for feeds 2-3 times (which she did before dropping nap&feed too) so that covers for her total milk need as before one milk is primary source of nutrition

When i dropped to 2 naps and was still breastfeeding i was doing good feedings upon wake up and at bedtime and would give him the boob before the nap but those 2 feedings would be a little less than upon waking up

yes, he’s definitely getting better and better with solids, and eating more, but I still think we are not there yet to count them as a meal replacement.
P.s. where did you get those extremely cute matching white hats you have on your profile photos😍

thanks! I think he’s also probably making up for it at night, but he’s always been waking up for multiple night feeds

aw thank you! They were a gift from my mama but I think they are from Etsy 🥰
And yes understood. We add milk to meals to make sure she’s getting what she needs
