Hyperactive Baby

Yeahhh mines a mover. I always say she's building her own water park in there 😂. I get an NST pretty often due to some risks I have, and the ones at my clinic track the movement for me, but it shows as little black dots down the center of the print out. There's so many it's basically a black line instead. Feisty 😵‍💫

Yes 🙌🏼….Though it’s very reassuring to feel the kicks all the time but it does get bit uncomfortable especially if it’s around the belly button

I wish the NST machine here would automatically record the movements, it’s such a distraction pushing it all the time and then his movements being picked up on the fetal HR monitor sound like someone tapping a microphone cranked up lol. Glad I’m not alone with this shifty baby. Hope he’s not as restless outside of the womb.

Mine is constantly moving too, especially during NST and ultrasounds when they are pushing on him! It’s like he’s fighting them back. The woman who does my NSTs said it usually takes about 20-30 minutes to get 2 good movements that make their heart rate rise but it took less than 10 to get 2 separate accelerations

The last time I went in for an NST, they told me my 32 week old was more active than a 37 week old. He never stopped moving! But they said he is healthy, given I have preeclampsia. I'm going back in tomorrow, but he is constantly moving, so I have a feeling we will get the same results this time around. Makes me feel reassured that he has the energy to move about. I do agree it can be quite overwhelming, especially when it's the middle of the night, and all I want to do is sleep. I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow. 3 more weeks until I'm induced at 37 weeks. 🤗
