This is more a hilarious plea for those that understand. I’m a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding next weekend. Hadn’t tried the dress on until last night, thinking oh it won’t be that bad, it needs taking in etc as we got it a size bigger than necessary. Nope! Fits like a glove and hugs the bump way more than I’m comfortable with. Feel like I’m going to hate everyone staring as I walk down the aisle like a freshly caught whale 😅. Not a style I would choose pre-pregnancy but I all can do is go with the flow!!

Could you ask the bride if there are any accessories you could add to make you feel more comfortable? Or ask her if she would be happy for you to change into something else that she likes after all that important stuff is done? I’m sure she’ll understand your need for comfort!
Imagine what it will feel like after eating too 😬😬

I'm in the same boat, I understand your struggle 😂 the bride has said I can change into something more comfy after photos etc, hopefully you'll be able to do the same!

I understand your struggle too! I’m bridesmaid this Sunday and thankfully the dress is a bit looser on my tummy but still a bit worried !

I’m in a similar situation, not a bridesmaid but I have a wedding to go to this weekend and feel so awkward and uncomfortable in my dress! I am not used to styling this new body yet and dread to think what the pictures will turn out like 😂

I was also a bridesmaid recently. I was only around 13 weeks at the time but I changed out of my dress for the night time and the bride was fine with it, I felt ok until I’d eaten the meal and didn’t feel comfy dancing and couldn’t relax. She said she’d much more prefer me to get changed and be able to join in fully. 😊
