Struggling with baby blues - anyone? 😭

I gave birth 6 days ago to my beautiful baby, I had the most amazing birth experience after 2 not so good ones and a previous emergency c section, and I was on cloud 9 the day before, during and after! Now I’m home I feel I don’t know lol how I even feel. I feel weird? I want to go back in time and re live it, I miss being pregnant, having her in my stomach feeling her move 😞. And I don’t want another one for a good few years yet and it just went so by so quickly. Is this normal to feel like this? I got PPD after my second and I’m scared I’m heading there, or if this is normal feeling like this. It was the most amazing experience and I’m really proud of myself so I don’t know why I feel this way 😞

I felt exactly the same after my birth I put it down to the baby blues when my milk was coming in!

Apparently it's really common to feel sad a few days after giving birth, it's the hormone withdrawal after birth. The midwives in my hospital referred to it as the third day blues. I got it on day 3 and just wanted to cry constantly, the midwives didnt seem surprised at all to see me upset haha 😅 it did go away though! Just be on the lookout for PPD symptoms, especially if they last more than 2 weeks x

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
