my HV told me to just give my 7 month old what Iam eating, tonight Iam making cottage pie obviously I know it has to be low salt but how do I serve that to her?

If it has no big lumps in it I would just serve that as it is. Mince & mash tend to be quite easy for them to eat :).
Maybe serve it with some cooked carrot sticks or florets of broccoli.
You could either pop some on a spoon and let her attempt to feed herself, or feed her if you’re more comfortable with that, or just pop it in front of her and let her use her hands :).
Don’t be disheartened if she doesn’t eat loads to start with, it can take a little while for them to get used to eating.

I would feed her with a spoon but also stick some on table of high chair so they get taste & texture. It’s all sensory.
