I had my 32 week growth scan yesterday (I’m actually 33 weeks today) and he’s measuring in the 99th percentile. They’re saying this boy weighs 6lb8oz😳😳 they also told me I have mild polyhydramnios and I have to go back in a week for a biophysical profile. Of course they told us everything looks good they’re just being proactive..but I’m freaking out. Anyone else dealing with either of these?

My first measured a month ahead at his 32 week growth scan. Ended up not coming until 41+3. He was 9lb1oz and 22.5in. This baby was measuring exactly the same size ahead at the growth scan. My and my husband are both tall and have tall families though, so it was expected. We were both 9lb babies when we were born.

ok, yeah the size thing is tough…I was born 7lb something and my boyfriend was a preemie at like 5lb. I’m 5’5” and he’s 6’. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it wasn’t this lol

Same except I have gestational diabetes, my belly measures 40 weeks and I’m 35 weeks come Friday. 4 weeks ago my little one measured the same as your little one and they measured her 4 times because they couldn’t believe it and I know it can be “give or take a pound” but still lol. Im only 5’2 and will likely have a c section

My boy is measuring in the 99th percentile last week I was 34+1 and he was measuring 37+1 7lbs 2oz.
He’s weighing what my daughter was weighing at her 37 week scan
My husband was 10lbs a lot of the males in his family were 12 so I think I’m just fucked lol

I was 32 w with my first and he measured 33 w 6. He was 9 lbs 22” and over a week after his due date. My second at my 32 w scan measured at 37 w. They’re still inducing me at 39 weeks. Sometimes kids are big and it’s ok. As I tell people my super power is to make giants. 🤷♀️

My baby boys measuring in the 77th percentile. He’s measuring a week ahead as well. I think I do have a slight case of polyhydramnios as well, but the doctor didn’t actually tell me that, but she did let me know I have a bit more fluid than normal, so I’m assuming I may have a mild case , I’m right on that borderline as well, but a baby was weighing about 5 lbs. 10 oz. at my 34 week appointment measuring at 35 weeks but my belly is measuring at 38 weeks and that was about two weeks ago so I am anxious to see what the measurements and numbers are at my appointment this Friday. Don’t freak out. I think it’ll be fine. worst case you’ll probably have to have a C-section; I’m trying not to freak out myself and just stay calm. Lol

I just went to the doctors this morning. I’m 34 + 4 and they said that the baby’s belly is measuring 3 to 4 weeks ahead so they scheduled me for a growth scan next week. they said they’re unable to measure the shoulders, but normally big belly means big shoulders, and I want to go vaginally, but that may not be an option. My husband’s daughter was 9lbs and my family has big babies so we kinda expected it

that’s how I wanted to go but once my doctor explained shoulder dystocia to me I was done. And my doctor doesn’t dramatize she’s very to the point and is NOT quick to recommend a c section unless she strongly thinks it is needed. Don’t freak out just yet & see what they say. All good vibes 🫶🏼💕

the way my pregnancy has been going. I’ve learned to just go with the flow… Have no expectations at this point. I just wanna happy and healthy delivery and baby. Lol 💜💜💜

I feel so left out of this side of motherhood, my doc won't tell me anything about LO size/weight/ect. I have absolutely no clue. When I asked my doc about it he said that nothing is definite, so no point speculating.

same here! My last ultrasound was in May and Im currently 35 weeks. I won't have my next one until I'm 37 weeks where they will estimate size. She measured my belly and said he might be small but I have no clue on his weight.

honestly, I almost wish mine was like this especially with everything I’ve heard/read about dr giving an estimate and having it be completely wrong.

Currently in the same boat with my third baby now. Supposed to be 32 weeks and measuring 97th percentile/2 weeks ahead. I think my due date is wrong because I’ve never had big babies but they assure me baby was on track at 12 weeks. They will have me do another growth scan at 36 wks and if baby is measuring to be over 10 lbs they told me c-section would be recommended but not forced. Sigh.

don't feel left out. I agree with the doctor. It's not necessary to know and can just cause unnecessary stress. My last ultrasound was 20 weeks, and the tech wouldn't give me an estimated weight. My doctor hasn't talked about my due date or measurements at all, she just makes sure everything is normal. Be glad we don't have anything extra to worry about. We'll see our babies when they get here
