Hi Georgie!
I’m only 9weeks but yes I am suffering from excessive thirst!

I would contact your midwife, extreme thirst and headaches is associated with diabetes so gestational diabetes could be a possibility

😩😩 I’m really suffering!! I really feel for you. I phoned the midwife today she going to send me for an early gestational diabetes test! But said it may to be early to test. X

I am also VERY hungry all day!!! It’s like I cannot get full. It’s so irritating. I hope everything goes well for you!!!! 🤍

don’t worry I was the same at 9 weeks I just ate little and healthy and snacked!! Often. Hope everything goes well for you 2 ❤️ xx

hi Stacey, I contacted the midwife today she said that she will test me but she seems to think it’s to early but I’m suffering with it so bad

When it’s excessive thirst, tiredness and frontal lobe headaches that is signs of Gestional diabetes. Please be mindful of your sugar intake and avoid frizzy drink as it makes it worst making you to pee more often than your normal pregnancy progesterone level. Tell the midwife to send you for a Hba1c test asap. If GD is confirmed, then your GP can put up a management plan making sure it is safe in pregnancy. Wish you all the best and don't worry too much. Please increase your fluid intake (water) that will help in eliminating extra toxins within your body and save your pancreas.

I’m 16+5 and started yesterday evening with extreme thirst and throughout last night and today. Also had a really awful headache today and been sick a couple of times. I’m in bed now exhausted. I put it down to the hot weather as it was 30 degrees today where I am but now I’m worried it may be Gestational Diabetes. If it’s too early to test what are we supposed to do? 😫 x

Tick, tick and tick 😭 Going to speak to my consultant about it at my 16 week (which will actually be 17+6 weeks) appointment on Monday.
I’ve got my GD test at the end of next month. Praying it’s just the extreme heat at the moment in the UK and not GD 🥹

I suffered/am suffering with excessive thirst and the only thing that can clench my thirst is ice pops, actual ice cream doesn't do anything. The only thing that helps clench my thirst is ice pops x
