Hey y’all. So I’m just wondering
If anyone else has gone through This. Earlier today my LO was in her swing and my husband was supposed to be watching her while I napped on the couch ( sleep deprived as we had a very rough night) and I guess she wasn’t hooked on like I thought and scooted out of her swing . He said she hit feet first then on her belly and then her head luckily it’s on a soft carpet and he said it didn’t look to be a hard fall. But I’ve been worried all day. She was alert and only cried for a minuet and then her daddy had her laughing. She didn’t have any marks that i saw and no goose eggs. I wanted to take her to the hospital as I have bad anxiety and I’m paranoid but my husband said she’s fine. Should I be worried…?

I would take her to the hospital just for my own peace of mind, my little one is also 2 months I feel like he is too fragile to be falling.

I’d look for signs, crying continuously, sleep is off, throwing up
she hasn’t cried much today unless she’s hungry or poopy diaper, her sleep seems to be fine shes been awake a lot today and she’s been spitting up a little more today but she’s also been eating alot today

My LO fell off of the couch at a few days old because the person holding her fell asleep while she was contact napping. She didn’t fall very far as the couch is low to the ground but we have vinyl floors and trust me when I say I had a mental breakdown because I was freaking out and angry. Same thing though, she was not crying for long and she was “fine” in terms of behavior. Checked with the pediatrician anyway and apparently it’s more common than people think and babies are very resilient. He said that if the baby wasn’t fussy, vomiting, lethargic, and no swelling, then he wasn’t worried. But definitely keep a look out and inform your doctor. They see it happen a lot and it’s better to have them check the baby than not due to embarrassment or feeling like you’re being over dramatic
