Has anyone had experience with this or are planning on this? There is slightly increased fluid around the baby which is being monitored and they have said if this doesn't decrease I will have to deliver on labour ward. I was hoping to go to a birthing centre 🤦🏼♀️

I birthed on a ward 12 years ago.. im sure things have changed a lot since then so I won't go into my experience x

I delivered on the labour ward (I had to be induced) I couldn’t have a water birth but they were still amazing they got me the prettiest like space projector that lit up the whole room and got some Bluetooth speakers so we could play whatever music we wanted! The midwives were great too!
Thank you 🙂 glad you had a positive experience x

I had to go onto a labour ward with my first due to gestational diabetes. It was fine. I even ended up being taken into surgery to have forceps and they were quick and speedy. I’ve opted to go for the labour suite again just because they are more geared up incase of anything happening. Xx
