First pregnancy and I'm 7 weeks gone. Got first appointment next week with midwife. I haven't physically had any morning sickness but feeling very nausea on and off throughout the day. Any tips on not feeling like this.

Mints help me 😂

As soon as I wake up I find I've been eating ice lollys but don't want to overdo with those because of the sugar etc

Eat little and often, and eat before getting out of bed if you can to settle your stomach. X

Oh bless you!! Im 9 weeks pregnant and definitely understand how you feel. Ginger never worked for me. In contrast, gentle peppermint teas for good. I also bought some acupressure point bands, which I found very helpful. I learnt to understand my triggers of nausea, then learnt to avoid them as much as possible. Specific smells was a BIG trigger for me. I switched all my products at home to fragrance free. Lastly, don’t push on with the struggle, if you find that you are vomiting a lot, I’d recommend visiting your GP. There are certain anti-nausea medications that can help you through this process! I started vomiting 10+ a day and finally spoke to my GP. They have prescribed me cyclizine, which are safe to take during your pregnancy. I can’t say that it works 100% but it’s definitely made my days feels more bearable!

This saved my life, all day nausea from 5 weeks was in bed all weekend it was that bad, someone on here recommended this off Amazon, I looked it up on Vinted and got it for £45.
It arrived Monday and I put it on first thing Tuesday morning and I’ve been a lot better since. I can now function I’d say to around 75% before this I could do nothing!

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
