Hello 👋🏻 how can we feel where the baby is? I don’t understand how the midwives do it!

It's a lot of guess work 🤣 in my first pregnancy they were always adamant baby was head down. He never was..he was breech the entire pregnancy until 39 weeks 😅 I had a positioning scan at 37 weeks that confirmed he was breech at the time x
oh god 😂- do we all get offered a scan beforehand?

Im not sure about feeling to work it out, but if you get a lot more big movements above your belly button & little movements below you can assume that baby is head down. You can also tell if your baby gets hiccups, because theyre smaller movements that dont ripple the whole tummy. I can feel them just above my pubic bone ahaa xx

No, midwives can usually tell by having a feel of your belly! But if they're unsure they sometimes offer a scan. They will ask where you feel movement and kicks etc xx

I can feel everything, it's bloody painful 🥺 I also have scans every 4 weeks which always confirm I'm right about where she is

Experience. That’s how they’ll do it
