Tenderness in lower belly

Has anyone experienced tenderness in lower belly? Almost feels like i have a full bladder. If I massage it slightly it tends to disappear. Not sure if it’s round ligament or something more sinister like UTI? Or if it’s completely normal! Currently 18+4

Yes I have started to have that, I’m currently 16 weeks. It’s only slight but can tell it’s because my belly has suddenly popped in the last week, baby must have had a growth spurt

I’ve had a sore belly most of today and I feel really tender too. I’m 17 weeks and I’m the same as you, have no idea if it’s expected to happen or if it’s something bad. 🤷‍♀️

Yep, mine had started this week and I’m 16 weeks. It feels the same as what you’re mentioning, like my bladder is at the front of my abdomen and feels tender. I thought it would last a day or two but I’m now on day four of it and it can be painful sometimes.

Hoping it’s just baby growth.

Usually it’s quite common in 2-3 trimesters as uterus start growing etc. sometimes constipation it might be the reason too. As long as you dont have pain, or it’s getting very uncomfortable/ worse in this case I would suggest you contacting your midwife. Had very similar experience when I was 15 weeks, went to see doctor he told me to rest, not lift anything, to avoid any heave activity and not to SRESS tbh been doing all of that. I rested for a week and It’s gone.

Yeah I've had this for weeks I even asked my midwife about it at my appt because it feels like a painful bladder like a uti but no other symptoms (doesn't hurt to pee) she said its totally normal and just where baby is pushing on it and things are moving. It's actually eased off in the last few weeks and now my pain is all much higher up. I'm 18+5 x

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
