For the last 2/3 weeks my boy keeps wetting through his nappies at night and I'm constantly changing and washing the sheets! We have been using Sainsburys size 6+ for a few months. They fit him fine but I don't think they hold enough liquid overnight.
Last few days I've been doubling up the nappies at night using a size 7 pull up and the size 6+ nappy over the top and he's still wet through that early this morning! His nappies would always last 12-13 hours until he started wetting through them recently.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good bigger nappies as Sainsburys doesn't go higher than 6+ and 7 in the pull ups which clearly aren't working for my boy.In the past we've tried Tesco nappies which were not great, Aldi nappies ended up giving him nappy rash at size 4 and Pampers were not bad but he used to wet through them as well but that was when he was very small. I'm not sure if Pampers or Huggies do a size 7+ or 8. I know they will probably be huge for my son but I'm just thinking these sizes would work in terms of how much liquid it would hold? Thanks in advance x

thank you x

Pampers are great for us! But also aldis night time ones have worked too! Xx

Also pampers go up to an 8 x

We use rascal and friends from Tesco and have never had a leak x

The rascle and friends range in tesco is really cheap and they are amazing! We have always used these and not had a single leak or blowout 🤞🤞 which me have just jinxed myself 🙈🤣

Thanks guys think I'll try the Pampers first and see how it goes x

Pamper night nappy pants I use and I find them good. Xx

I use both rascal and friends nappies and pull up pants(pull ups for bedtime), and pampers pull up pants whenever they’re on offer. Which by the way they’re on a nectar card price right now at Sainsburys! I have the odd leak on a morning but I always have time to clean sheets and his sleeping bag before he has another leak and I have only 3 sleeping bags and 3 bed sheets 🙈 xxxx

We use Fred and flo nappies from Tesco and been using them since he was born as others gave him nappy rash and they’ve worked really well for us, never had any problems with them and he wees a lot in his sleep

unfortunately they weren't great for my little boy. I've just bought a pack of Pampers from Sainsburys but if they don't work out I'll try rascal and friends and I've also heard good things about Ocado Kiddo which luckily I can order online on their zoom app x

Pampers. We tired rascal and friend whuxg were great but bulky between the legs. Pampers are much nicer fit x

I'd suspect it's a movement issue rather than how much they can hold, unless he's guzzling like 3 bottles immediately before bed or something! I'd honestly try going back to smaller sizes as I would bet money that they're so big they're moving out of place at some point - even just a fraction will be enough for a leak. Mine is in size 4+ (has been for AGES now, but the weight range is something like 10-20kg so it makes sense to be a long time in this size) and when my eldest potty trained (who was 99.6th percentile), we had only got up to size 6. Size 7 is designed for like primary school aged children who still need a nappy for whatever reason, which is why they're not commonly stocked in all shops. Even if you can get a handful of smaller ones from a friend or a free page/freecycle etc to try before you buy, it would be worth it. I'd go for 4+ or 5s at this age depending on size/weight/build.

I know in theory that makes sense but for some reason the smaller sizes became so tight on my little boy and he grew out of size 5 when he was like 11/12 months old. It didn't make sense to me as he's only small and currently weighs 7.8kg but I just found size 6 and 6+ a better fit. We've switched to Pampers for now in size 8 at night and the last few days we've had no leaks. They fit very well, maybe a little big at the bottom but around his legs they are snug but not overly tight. The size 6+ in Sainsburys still works well for us during the day.

This kept happening to our little girl too but then we moved to pampers active night pants and it’s completely stopped. I think it is down to movement rather than size!
