Anyone choose not to do the 1 year immunisations or only did some ? Which ones did you do or not do ? I am in two minds when you hear everything about vaccines these days

My little boy has an egg allergy so hasn’t had the MMR, we’ve got a referral to the hospital regarding allergy testing/ this vaccine.
He didn’t have the live oral vaccines at the early ones because of my medication taken during pregnancy (medically advised).
Probably not the answer you was looking for because I want him to have the vaccine, the severity of implications of the illness significantly outweigh the after effects of the vaccine from studies.
I’m also thinking about looking into the chickenpox vaccine. Might seem outrageous to some but I’m on immunosuppressants and shouldn’t come into contact with it. And neither should he (medically advised until after 1). Which he is 1 now… so I need to decide soon…

We did the 2 boosters, one for meningitis and sorry don’t remember the other one and I’ve chosen to do mmr and the pneumonia one another time. I’ll most likely be holding them off for at-least a year. I read some absolutely horror stories about babies having bad reactions and regressions after their one year vaccines and although I’m not antivax I am absolutely cautious of what goes in to my daughter body. I think 4 different vaccines in one day is too much. It can not be good for their immune systems to overload it like that. I also self inject medication every 8 weeks and my leg aches for days after and i understand why, these babies don’t.

I also inject medication but weekly, thankfully no pain now but I’ve done it for over 10 years! But I know how achey I get after flu/covid jab etc

This is probably not what you want to hear, but my little girl got meningitis when she was a couple of weeks old. I believe 2 of the jabs at 1 year are for that and I honestly would not skip those because of how awful nearly loosing her due to it was. I'm sure the chance of catching it is low, but i wouldn't take the risk now.

They are so important to have, especially as at this age they are so vulnerable! Lots of diseases that were almost eradicated have come back because people aren’t vaccinating their children and it worries me! I had all mine as a a child and I am perfectly fine!

My LO and I got lucky (in a sense) and had the 1-year vaccines in two sessions. There was a clerical error where they signed him up for the appointment 3 weeks before his first birthday, but the babies can’t get the MMR and the PCV before they are one, so we had the other two done at that appointment (the two in the legs) and then we had the MMR and the PCV done 4 weeks later and I would highly recommend breaking up the 4 vaccines into 2 appointments if you can because I feel like my LO barely had any reaction to them whatsoever. Plus it wasn’t as traumatising to him to get 4 shots in 1 day!
