For the past 4 days I have introduced to my LG (7 weeks) one breastmilk bottle during the day, at first she explored the bottle and would drink a little bit from it, but as the days pass by she is completely refusing it and not even trying ( very similar situation with the dummy at first she would take it and now impossible to get her to take it for comfort). Any tips on getting her to drink in the bottle please ? (I have tried different bottle, different temperature, different position etc.. making sure she was in good mood to introduce it etc..) Is it possible that a baby refuse completely the bottle ? (Like she does for the dummy?)
Or I need to keep on trying ?

My mum has suggested I warm the teat up so it’s similar to a nipple being warm, and not to do the feeding myself as baby will sniff your milk and orefer it from the tap

Yes I would agree with the not feeding yourself, my baby takes breast milk from a bottle but her dad has to feed her, if I try then she's really fussy and I think it's cause she can smell me and would rather go direct to the source.

Alright I will try both, are you going into another room when he is feeding your baby though ?

no she still takes it if I'm in the same room although I often leave anyway to go and sort my pumps out / wash bottles etc 😂

fair enough !! 😂
