Time limit for another maternity

Hey! Does anyone know if there’s a length of time you need to be back at work before your entitled to maternity benefits again? Or if there is a time? I am a teacher and this time around I had 4 weeks full pay 6 weeks 80% 2 weeks 60% then SMP until 9 months

It varies company to company according to my HR hubby and should be outlined in the maternity policy.

Not 100 percent sure, might be 13 weeks to pay back your mat leave entitlement
Definitely check your policy or ring hr

I'm a teacher too and had my second baby in December after only 1 term back in the classroom. I returned in June 2022 very slowly but wasn't in class. I was already pregnant then. Then in Sept 22 I went into the classroom then had my baby in Dec. Our OMP is based on weeks 16-25 of pregnancy so if you're still on mat leave and on SMP, that's what your OMP will be based on I think. But I don't think you actually have to return if it was to give birth within the 12 months you're allowed off, but it would have an impact on your mat pay. That was my understanding but I could have got it wrong!

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
