My LO will be getting cut next month at almost 3 month. Has anyone cut their baby around the same time? How did he/she cope? Is it too late to cut it?

My first daughter had hers cut around 11 weeks. Very straightforward and improved her feeding almost overnight. Fingers crossed you have the same experience - it was transformational for us!

My so had his at almost 10 weeks and although he was unsettled the next day it was better than I thought it would be

Mine girl just had hers at 2.5 month and she was fussy the same night but alright the next day. I saw an improvement in latch
Thanks ladies that’s reassuring xxx I hope it will be the same for my son

Mine has got a slight tongue tie am I best getting it done? He feeds fine so don't want to put him through it if he doesn't need to xx

If he’s feeding okay then you don’t have to- lots of adults have slight ties they didn’t know about. My son had a posterior tie and was putting on weight but because of a poor latch he was sucking down lots of air which made him sick lots and also uncomfortably bloated. I tried lots of things to improve the latch and winding before I went for it.

sorry above is for you. I spoke to an NHS surgeon about it
