It's my little boys 1st birthday today. I also have a nearly 2.5yo. I'm a single parent.
As much as I know I couldn't physically, emotionally or financially cope with another child, I'm so sad that I don't have a baby anymore and I'll never get to experience pregnancy/birth/newborn stage again.
I always said I wanted 2 children and I have 1 girl, 1 boy who r my whole world and im incredibly blessed, i love my children with all my heart and i know im so lucky to have them but I keep thinking if I was younger and not doing it alone, I'd happily have another. Silly coz I'm not younger and I am on my own so it is what it is. I felt like this a lot after my youngest was born and I thought I'd gotten over it but it seems to have come back with a vengeance whilst approaching my sons 1st birthday.

I feel you! We have 3 gorgeous children and neither of us want any more but my little girl is 1 in a week and I'm super sad about it. I havent felt like this with either of the others and I know it's because I won't get to experience it all again! 😢

@Amy as soon as my oldest was born, I couldn't wait to be pregnant again. I really missed it, even tho I had my daughter here in my arms. I felt it a bit after my son was born but it then eased a bit but, even after a tough pregnancy with my second (spent the last month on crutches due to severe spd and agonising pain) I still hate the reality that I'll never be pregnant again, never see my baby on the scan screen, never feel a kick or roll. I am so so thankful I have experienced it, not once but twice and I feel like I shouldn't feel this as I know a couple of women who would give anything to be mums and would be incredible but sadly they haven't been able to
