Aww she is such a cutie, my daughter is 8 months old and has started doing the same thing I think it’s just them discovering their bodies. It looks like it hurts when she pulls it but she doesn’t cry with it I think it’s just a new texture x

aww thankyou I tried searching it but got so many answers I didn’t know what to believe aha I’m glad it’s not just mine doing it I thought I was stressing her out 🤣

no absolutely you’re not stressing her 🤣 but I know other Moms who have had their LO pulling their hair x

Keep an eye out. She could have trichotillomania.

It normally starts around puberty but kids as you as 18 months can have it too.

There is not enough info and more research has to be done...

It can be genetic or due to trauma.

I treat people specifically with trichotillomania.

Saying that, some kids pull their hair anyway for a little while and then stop completely.

Which is why I'm saying just to keep an eye out.

You can always gently stop her from puliing and distract her with something else the moment you see it. Keep doing it over and over so it doesn't become a habit. X

Feel free to get in touch if you need more info.

Baby Monitor Recommendations?

Hey Mammas!
Looking into a baby monitor that isn’t easy for someone to hack into (my sister had someone hack into the WiFi on theirs and take a screen shot of their babies sleeping 😳). I would also like to be able to see my baby from work and talk to her.
Any suggestions? TIA!

White noise for babies… I’m curious what everyone else does 🤍😴

A few questions for you all:

– Do you use white noise for naps, nighttime, or both?
– What type do you use (machine, app, YouTube, etc.)?
– Do you leave it on all night or turn it off once baby is asleep?
– What volume do you keep it at?
– Have you noticed it actually helps your baby settle?
– Do you worry about them becoming dependent on it?
– How long did you use it for?
– When (and how) did you stop using it? 👀
– Did stopping it affect your baby’s sleep at all?

Would love to hear different experiences because I’m still figuring out what works best! 🤍

Sleep

Baby boy has never slept through the night which we accepted early on, contact naps in day. The hourly waking up is driving us crazy. Exclusively breastfeeding and as weeks go on he is adamant to be fed to sleep and uses it as comfort through out the night. Really considering a sleep trainer but heard mixed reviews about this as they don’t always stick to the routine. My husband helps as much as he can which is great. Any tips and honest advice will be so so appreciated please!!! 7 months in and I’m losing hope…

Hungry baby

My little boy is a very hungry baby. Will finish a bottle then an hour later he’s hungry again. Debating on changing to kendamil to see if that will fill him up more. Otherwise I’m going to look into hungry baby formula. He’s on 5oz bottles every 1-2 hours and always wakes up from a nap screaming cause he’s hungry again. Has anyone got any advice?
