Making friends on patch

Hi
How do you make friends with people on patch? I literally have 1 "mum" friend but I wish I had more friends who have military partners for support / company when they're away...
Any tips on how to make that first step? 😂 We're in Portsmouth

We are in Southampton and my husband doesn't have a base because of the nature of his job so we don't know that many navy families always open to chat. Xx

Hi! We’ve just moved from Portsmouth! Im not sure which patch you’re on but we were in southsea / old Portsmouth and it was the loveliest patch. There are a couple of things I would recommend if you’re not already involved - does your patch have a weekly coffee morning you can go to? Is there a patch park you can start going to regularly? - after schools finish is a good time to see lots of people. Are you on the patch fb page? If you feel comfortable I would definitely recommend putting yourself out there and writing a post saying where you live and how old your children are, and asking if anyone else has similar aged kids and wants to meet for a coffee or a play at the park one day. I’ve found the military communities to be sooo friendly and welcoming. Hopefully you can meet some people soon 🙂

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
