Anyone else's belly so this when they are having contractions? It only takes this shape during contractions and it hurts.

@Ashley mine literally started doing this at 4am today and now every single time I have a contraction it does it.

It’s normal, it’s just the shape of your baby.

@Sara i guess its just weird to see cuz it hasn't every done that before but now every single contraction does it

This is what happens to me when I have Braxton hicks contractions. It feels like she’s curled up in a tight ball at the top right side of my belly and it’s pretty painful/uncomfortable. At this point I can’t even distinguish between uncomfortable and painful lol. Everything sucks 🫠

When I lean back slightly my stomach will do this. I haven't had any contractions yet.

@Marini I've been in early labor since last week and this is a whole new level of weird things happening during it for me. I've had confirmed real contractions since last Wednesday but none of them did this until early this morning and now its every single contraction makes weird shapes

@Arielle that sounds exhausting. Hopefully things speed up and it can be over sooner for you!

@ArielleEvery single one of my Braxton hicks make my belly look look cone shaped/deformed. Hmmm 🤔 But it’s been happening for over a month already. Pretty sure they’re just BH but 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

@Marini yea we had to go in last Wednesday cuz little man decided he wanted to stop moving for 48 hours and their monitors were picking up contractions. Pretty strong ones too. I mean I felt them but my pain tolerance is really high so I think they thought I was crazy with how frequent they are and how little I react to them

@Allana it definitely is. I sleep in 20 to 30 minute increments to try and regain some energy but its a struggle. I haven't had any good actual sleep since the weekend

@Arielle awe man I'm sorry! I also worry about not really knowing about going into to labor because I also have a high pain tolerance. But everyone just keeps saying "you'll know" but Ive heard stories of people going to the hospital too late and not being able to get an epidural.

@Allana thankfully I have no plans for an epidural so worst case we have an unexpected home birth while waiting on paramedics 🤣
