So I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and I have been feeling my baby boy move, but I don't like it. And then I feel guilty about not liking it because it's supposed to be the most magical wonderful thing about pregnancy. Don’t get me wrong it makes me happy when he does move but I don’t like the feeling. It kinda makes me wanna crawl out of my skin because the feeling is so weird to me. I feel awful because everyone I have talked to said they loved it. Did anyone else feel like this when they felt their baby move? This is my first pregnancy. Please no mean comments I already feel awful.

It definitely is a weird feeling. Sometimes cringy. Don’t feel bad. Over time you might grow to love it.

i definitely understand that guilt feeling. it is a really weird feeling and i described it to my boyfriend as almost feeling like claustrophobic in your own body with something else inside of you yknow? not even to mention that the movements can be painful and get more uncomfortable as he grows 🥲like im so happy about it it relieves so much of my anxiety and i love him but there definitely are downsides

I feel the same exact way 🥴 I'll be 23wks this coming Wednesday

On occasion it feels like when your stomach turns or is jittery from anxiety which then gives me anxiety! One thing I found that helped during my first pregnancy is listening to hypnobirthing music and taking deep breaths when the kicking creates that sensation.

At first it was very uncomfortable but I've gotten used to it! I really didn't like the movements when I had the stomach flu because it made me nauseous. Hopefully you will get used to it! It took me a few weeks!
