Speak to your midwife/gp, they can prescribe you Omeprazole, life saver honestly! đđŒ

Orange flavour rennies have been my go too! Any of the minty ones just dont help mineđ

Rennie tablets and love heart sweetsđ

My midwife gave me Peptac which is just liquid gaviscon and it works like a dream for me

@Abbie I don't think your allowed omeprazole when pregnant. My GP took me off mine.
Gaviscon or Rennies was what I got advised to use

strange, itâs what my midwife asked my gp to prescribe as gaviscon or rennies wasnât doing anything đ the leaflet says just to ask for a pharmacists advice before taking it x

Love heart sweets are pretty good

Omperzole is safe during pregnancy, however ppi can wreck havoc to your gi system and can cause rebound reflux. They are over perscribed and can also mean you can't absorb iron and vitamin b12 well. So if you need a ppi, be careful. Before even getting pregnant, I had chronic gerd and stomach issues. Some you can come reliant on them. things you can do to help include: putting your bed on books or blocks at the upper end so you sleep on an angle (ideally on left side as the acid is less likely to come up) , a low acid diet (so many hidden acidic foods), avoid foods which loosen you LES (garlic, onion and caffeine Inc chocolate), foods such as miso soup and watermelon help. Eat little and often. You can also have alot of gaviscon.

I used to use Rennies!

Omperzole has been life changing for me!!

Drinking milk is helping along with rennies for me

Parma Violets & love hearts have been super helpful for me! Apparently itâs because theyâre chalky but theyâve been a life saver!
