So my daughter is 8 months old and is now eating 3 solid meals a day.
I’ve read online about how much milk she should be having in 24hours and I don’t think she is having that much.
She will drink at least half a bottle at a push but doesn’t ever finish it.
I’ve tried giving her bottle first before solids but then she’s too full for solids and vice versa when she has her meal first. She also does drink water.
Should I be concerned?

Before 1 years old, her main food should still be milk, instead of food. So I would choose to at least have one of the meal after bottle, to make sure baby gets enough milk
thank you! This is where ive struggled as health visitor said she should be eating 3 meals a day but once shes had a bottle she doesn’t want food

Mine is 8 months too but I didn’t start to give him breakfast. ( also because in the morning I’m more struggling with the older one😂), but if you do it’s totally fine, just make one of the meal as a “snack”, ideally breakfast.

How long after she wake up do you feed her? Does she need longer?
Is it time to drop a bottle so she’ll have more of them?
How long do you wait between solids and milk?

How much milk is she drinkin?, my HV said they should still be having atleast 500ml (17oz) and if it has dropped to this then also a multivitamin

So it’s recommend at 8months to have 600ml so that’s about 4x 5 ounce bottles. Then between 9-12 months they will drop another bottle. That’s what my HV told me and what it says on back of milk tin/nhs guidelines x
