Jobs for mums

Hey all! Need a bit of inspiration and advice.
I have been doing agency work which has been convenient but recently all the work has disappeared meaning I have no income all of a sudden (eek). I've started looking for jobs but I'm not that flexible due to our childcare situation, which is proving a problem. We can't afford for me to not work and the situation has me starting to panic! Any tips on some jobs/careers that offer flexible working or wfh? Feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment as feeling a bit like I lost my skills and employability somewhere 😕

What type of jobs have you been doing / do you enjoy doing?

If you're happy to be freelance and you're a good typist, there are websites and agencies that'll send you interviews or meeting notes to type up. Works really well around childcare because you could do the work at 3am if you really wanted to!

Civil service is pretty flexible, job share, part time, WFH x

Could you set yourself up as a freelancer? I’m planning to do so shortly as our LG’s nursery now has more availability so I can start working again, but not enough availability yet that would mean I could commit to a non-freelance job

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
