I’m currently sleeping in our recliner because of the same reason. She sounded congested and then would freak out like she couldn’t breath 10 minutes after I laid her down

I kept being told my kids were all good when I knew something wasn't write when they were babies. I kept pressing. After my oldest was born in 2008 I pressed long enough and they finally did test and he was diagnosed with Severe asthma. Then my second child was a baby he kept stop breathing on us while he was asleep. Well they did a sleep study and diagnosed him with sleep apnea. My youngest born Aug 3td 2023 was having the same issue as your plus gag when she would breathe in deep and choke occasionally while eating. Her breathing was very noisy and and wheezy. I got tired of the docs telling me she was good because she wasn't doing it when she was in the office. So I got smart and took several videos of her doing what was worrying me. Finally they watched them and immediately they diagnosed her with Laryngomalacia. My oldest grew out of his asthma. My 2nd had his tonsils and adenoids removed and his sleep apnea ceased. And they saying my girl should grow out of her condition between 12-18 months old

damn I’m glad you kept advocating for your kids and imma definitely do the same for my daughter my gut and intuition tells me otherwise and even my mother said it wasn’t normal so I can’t wait to get in to another pediatrician

I made an emergency apt with my pediatrician bc he was struggling to breathe. There's periods where he stops breathing, then breaths really fast and heavy. And other times where he's so wheezy that it wakes me up from my sleep. I was told lungs were clear and all if this is normal. I ended up getting an owlet sock to monitor his o2 levels, and so far everything has been fine.
Note: I have an older, 2nd hand version of the owlet. I've been told that they no longer monitor o2 levels but im not sure how true that is

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
