I put my son to bed at 7 same time as his 3 year old sibling to get him into a routine he usually wakes between 1-4 for a bottle and then 6:30/7 is his awake time. The sleep regression has just set in and is killing me worst than the first time I went through this but I don’t want to change his routine any advice welcome!

My LO doesn't like to go down until 8/9

Midnight ish but sleeps through til 10/11. Were night people this just works for us atm

so refreshing to hear another mum putting her kid to bed later than the 'sleep training' suggestion. Our little one really didn't want to go down at like 6/7 so 8/9 is his schedule and we go with how he prefers it

he's just naturally gone to bed late and wakes himself up at that 11, we've not really tried to keep him up or wake him or anything. I'd be dying getting up at 6am everyday as my brain wouldn't let me shut off 😐 don't understand why people want that unless they love the mornings, ew 🤣 when he goes to school in 3-4 years, then we'll start getting him used to earlier times but even when I'm at work, I get up 8am and WFH so 12-8 is fine for my sleep and his dad will sleep in til baba wakes 🤷🏼♀️

My little one goes to bed at 7 because we are always up at 6/6:30 ish due to my 3 year old who is always up so early so usually he conks out at 7 till like 1 or even 4 then will go till 6:30 / 7 as mentioned but unsure if it’s the sleep regression or the heat or I need to put him to bed later 🙈 my 3 year old was sleeping 7-7 at this age and I don’t sleep train I just go with what they want usually just stuck lol

oh I wasn't trying to suggest you were sleep training! Sorry if it came out that way! I just sometimes feel I'm doing things wrong not forcing him to go to bed earlier! But he really resists but he does unfortunately get up at 7ish 🙃

oh no I didn’t take it that way don’t worry it’s hard getting little ones into a routine no matter what you do luckily mine are tired by that time because either way they still get up by 7 🙈🤣

honestly its probably all of the above, I can barely sleep in this heat nevermind a little one! Mine won't do a solid 12 hours even with a dream feed. You could maybe try putting him to bed a bit later see if he goes? I know mine needs a big bottle feed before bed otherwise if he's only had 4oz he's up mid sleep. Whereas when he finishes his 7oz he goes a full 10 hours, so we try to keep him awake a little longer if he's only had half his bottle so he can finish it and sleep

mines up by 11 regardless of when you put him to bed. Went at 2am last night, was very figety and waking til 3:30, still up by 11 🥴🤣

I used to put my son to bed at 7pm but he would be awake by 5:30. Now I put him at 8pm and he usually falls asleep by 8:30pm and wakes up at 7am.

We don't really have a bed time yet. He stays down with us until we go to bed which is usually 9/10.
My husband has been doing more bedtimes with our eldest as I'm feeding the baby but I do story time as much as I can even if it means the baby goes to bed a bit later.

About 9 and sleeps through to about 7, she’s 16 weeks x

My lo is 10month she has 2 naps a day between 1 and 2.5 hours by 9oclock she is knackered soon as she has her bottle she's asleep sometimes fights her sleep to have/finish her bottle can see her drifting off half way through but she battles as much as she can then she sleeps till between 7 and 9 x

My little girl goes to bed at 9, falls to sleep at half 9 then is awake at half 4 then again at half 7, she used to sleep right through but this sleep regression is kicking in with full force

omg 10am sounds like a dream I’ve always wanted for sleep in but I have never in my whole life been able to sleep in past 7.30 even before kids, I’ve always naturally woken by 7 but my kids get up at 5.30/6 most days plus a few times in the night and thats a killer, we consider 7.30am a lie in in our house 🤣

My 3 year old goes to bed at 8pm on days he’s had a nap and 6pm on days without a nap. My 4 month old gets taken to bed at 6.6.30 and breast feed on and off for a good hour/ hour and half so usually asleep by 7.30/8 but we don’t have a set bedtime or routine, I just go off how the kids seems that day xx
