I was talking to a friend whose child is much older than mine and who is a bit older than me( like 30 ish years older) and I mentioned cluster feeding as my LO is 3 months and going through it again..... every hour sometimes right now. She told me I was teaching my child that his needs would always be met( as if it were a bad thing). And I was like, yes, yes I am teaching him that, lol. She said I am spoiling him.
What did they teach ppl in the 70s? Has anybody else been told something like this and if so, how did you respond?

"My baby is far too young to be spoilt, I am simply meeting his needs. I understand things were probably quite different when your child was young, but my parenting is based on the most recent research and I feel happy that we're doing the right thing for our family"
