I am exhausted to the point I feel unwell. My lb has never been great sleeper at nights but always good for naps recently he will fight naps screaming it took 4 hours this morning to finally get put down for a nap after being up all night so I know he’s over tired. I can’t catch up on sleep it’s pretty much me and him all day, when he goes down I have work to do or housework. No family to support, my partner works all the time and complains he’s tired and struggles to put him down because he’s so used to me doing it. I’m feeling really low and struggling. Is this a regression that’s not spoke about? He has two teeth that came in a couple weeks ago and I can’t see signs of others, yes it’s been warm but we have fans everywhere so I don’t even know if it’s that. I’m just looking for some form of light at the tunnel.

Hi ,
My little boy is 7 months old and went through the exact same thing at about 6.5 months. I was at the end of my tether and I was exhausted thinking what had happened. However, the last week or so things have started to improve and he is getting better.
Hang in there , it's tough at the moment but it won't last forever!!

My LB is 8 months and is similar at the mo… he was up wide awake at 1:30 last night just wide awake talking away… up for over an hour and then up at 6. I used the pampers sleep coach app and it did help but it’s expensive, £22/month but they do a weeks trial which did help me learn some tips on getting him to sleep better. Ie I’ve stopped a dream feed at 11:30 now and sometimes put him down earlier when I thought he had to wait until his usual bed time x

My 6.5month old is exactly the same. I think there is a sleep regression around this age as they are learning to sit and crawl. He’s fighting naps like no other and took 5 hours to be put down for bed last night too, he was so overtired he became hyper. It’s so draining but it will hopefully pass soon x
Thanks ladies nice to know I’m not alone in this, it’s just horrific being in the midst of it and hearing the crying when you know they are tired but fight their sleep. Hopefully will pass soon x
