Numbness

It went away for me I’m not a medical professional and I never inquired but I had the same thing

I felt the same! Mine is still numb and I'm 8 weeks pp.

6 weeks PP. I felt the same way - the numbness subsided for me (still feel it sometimes). When I had asked about it in hospital they said it is expected

15 weeks PP here and mine is still numb x

I’m 7months PP and mines still like this not as bad as it’s starting to get feeling but I was the same xx

It will be lovely. They cut through nerve endings. Sometimes they can heal other times not. I've had 6 abdominal surgeries including 3 c sections and I can't feel half of my belly x

Same here but I just had my second c section and it's the same as my first with the numbness my after my first I felt numb the whole time even eight months after I was still numb.

Get acupuncture weekly and massage it daily with your hands, it’ll come back faster. I was completely numb and miraculously got all sensitivity back, all feeling and strength by 6 months. It is possible.
I thought I’d be numb forever like my sister who is 22 Yrs post partum and basically also all my client patients. I even used a massager wand on it, pushing it and pressing all angles up and under and around the scar all the time to stimulate the blood flow to the area and the nerves grew back faster. Wherever there is blood, there’s oxygen and that means healing can happen! Good luck!

It is normal. I am almost 3 weeks pp and I have the same thing currently, asked ob at my appointment last Friday and she said it's very common.

I'm 3 months pp and i have this but in my bum 🙈 it's almost painful sometimes. I never had any kind of after care or follow ups with doctors etc so I've just kinds ignored it and hope itll eventually get better

My baby is 15months and I still have a weird numbness around my scar area.
I’d describe it kinda like when u get a jag at dentist and ur face is swollen afterwards…u can touch it and feel the swollen-ness and feel the sensation but it doesn’t feel normal like other parts of ur body.
If that makes any sense lol.

I had my little boy 2 years ago and the area around my scar is still numb, I think they cut through the nerves so it’s unlikely you’ll get full feeling back xx
