Cushing stomach when sitting or bending

I'm 24 weeks, and my bump is quite large.

I have found that when sitting down or belting over, my bump crushes into my stomach and causes pain/indigestion pain also.

If I sit down too much, it hurts, but then my hips hurt when I stand :'( I feel it's only going to get worse as the pregnancy progresses

I have preexisting chronic stomach issues prior to becoming pregnant, which does not help.

Does anyone have this?

No, I would speak to your GP to see if they is anything they could recommend that would help. You wouldn’t want to have to deal with that for 16-18 more weeks as you will only get bigger.

I have chronic gastritis (since I was 11), I’m 20 weeks and have asthma too. I definitely don’t want to be put on any treatment so I try hard to manage the situation as both my bump and my lungs pressure my stomach.
I don’t eat too much (volume) at once even though I can be hungry. If I ate what I consider a large enough portion and I’m still hungry I try to just have some avocado or any high high calories heathy thing(snacks with coconut oil or cocoa butter, some Greek yogurt).
I never eat again something that causes burns or doesn’t digest fast enough. Or I only eat them again in very small portions.
Every meal has to have whole cereals of some kind(fibres help lots).
Other overall rules, never bend crouch or lift anything after you’ve just eaten. Never lay down after food either.
Be careful how much water you have after meals. If very thirsty small sips with tiny breaks. After 30 mins you can drink as much as you like.

Dunno I pretty much have adapted my usual restrictive lifestyle but it does help a lot. Even before pregnancy no pills were as effective as listening to my body.

Thanks @Diana thats useful. I definitely can't handle alot of food at once for sure as I have slow gastic emptying and gerd, but it's even worse in pregnancy 🙃
