I keep trying to think of all of the positives in life, and in my life but I’m having such a hard time. I’m 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby and having such a hard time getting excited. We’ve had so many things go wrong in the past 3 months that it just feels like everything is stacking against me.
We moved from a place we absolutely loved, to be closer to family and get help from them. No one has been much help, and I’ve had a massive falling out with my only friend in this area. Now I’m friendless and hate where I live, and family is all to busy to help.
Our beloved cat has had urination issues and we’re in the process of rehoming him, which has been incredibly stressful and heartbreaking.
We needed to get state insurance after moving and this states costs 5x the price for insurance, has WAY less coverage and my deductible is over $10,000, so needless to say it’s useless and I’m going broke paying medical bills.
My husband also changed jobs and they are having a hard time with staffing to get him fully trained so the $55,000/yr he’s supposed to be making has only been $14/hr the last 2 months. We’re hardly affording rent.
I just feel broken, sad and hopeless.

I’m sorry that is happening🥺. You could try applying for Medicaid for the insurance. I know they covered a lot when I had it before. It’s a process getting it, but I’d say definitely worth it.
thank you. It’s been a struggle…
my states income level for Medicaid is disgustingly low, so unfortunately we didn’t qualify with his previous income, and we’ll be over it again as soon as he gets his raise. If we knew this was going to be so long on training I definitely would have applied at the beginning, but they won’t backdate anything so it won’t help us now. Hopefully he’s getting his raise in the next month. I am applying for food stamps though! That interview is in a week. 🙃

Awww man :/ I was thinking you could also try WIC but idk what their income threshold is . Well hopefully something pans out , or even maybe as it gets closer time for you being due your family will be able to help more
thank you, I appreciate your support
