Move to own room

Anyone else’s little demon had a shit night sleep last night? My LO goes to be around 8 every night and would usually wake once, around 130am for a quick feed then back to sleep. Last night, she woke 4 fucking times😣 each time she took a couple of ounces then moved her head to go back to sleep. Wtf is this all about? I’m shattered.
She was waking with every little noise or every time I turned in bed (she’s in a next to me) seriously considering putting her in her own room. These broken nights are killing me. We managed to wean off sleep associations and she now goes to sleep herself when put into bed. Pls send help because today is gonna consist of lots of chocolate, shit tv and naps

Feel your pain. Same boat. Have zero energy for the day ahead as a result and don’t know how I’ll make it through. Have you moved your LO to own room, ? Our LO is still in our room but considering moving to own room maybe he’ll sleep better 🤷‍♀️

Yes 🥲 usually wakes once. During regression has woken twice max. Last 2 nights she's woken 3x, for silly things like 1oz, or 4 if I'm lucky. Wasting her 7oz bottles because I've got no idea what she's going to want 🙃 both my kids went to their own room just before 3m because mine and their dads snoring bothered them. This is just sleep regression for us though 😴

4 times I call it a good night 😂😂 we went from 1-2 feeds to up every hour..... 4 weeks later she seems to be back at 2 feeds a night, but it's only been last 2 nights, don't want to jinx it

Sameeeee not sure what’s going on but this week she has has been waking up every few hours not to feed just to be awake! She used to be an 9pm-7am kinda girl so I’m allll messed up! It’s time for her own room I think 😂

We have put our boy in his own room (for about a week now) honestly he sleeps so much better he’s just turned 5 months today, he goes down for bedtime about 9pm wakes up for a feed at about half 10-11 and then sleeps till about 8am sometimes 9am in the morning atm xx

I’m considering moving her to see if she sleeps better! Some nights we can make lots of noise and not a peep from her! Other nights we actually try to not make noise and she turns and slams legs at the slightest noise (even if it’s just us breathing ffs lol) she also just got back to sleep then woke soon as my partners alarm went off and was ready for the day 🥺

Avatar

the milk was baffling me last night!! Normally she’ll wake and take the whole bottle then that’s her for the night! Last night she’s taking a few ounces then sleeping then back up a few hours later for more? So I was up and down making bottles for her to waste 😮‍💨

I know I should count myself lucky with the one but I just want her to go back to sleeping through 😂I miss unbroken sleep🫠😮‍💨

Avatar

how’s he sleeping in the cot? My LO is starting to outgrow her next to me ffs 😂

Avatar

I try to feed mine from an angle she can’t see me because once she sees me she starts laughing and getting excited and I have no energy for that 😂😂

Avatar

oh wow!! That’s so good! Has the sleep changed since moving then?? Xx

Avatar

@Gabriella exactly same as mine 🥲 my sons 5 and only had the 18m sleep regression. This is shit 😂

Avatar

i just need 4hrs uninterrupted, rest idc and I can function.... but I'm being told once this sorts out, then teeth come 😂 what did we sign up to 😂😂

Avatar

yes before he was waking up when we moved about! I’m a very light restless sleeper and move about quite a bit, he sleeps better in his own room with white noise on all night and he loves spreading himself out with all the room in the cot now and when he wakes up he quite happily chats to himself for a bit while I sort myself out and go and get him. Me and my partner say it’s the best decision we made as I was nervous to do it as it’s earlier then what the guidelines say but every baby is different xx

Avatar

In the same position🥲 he’s learnt to roll onto his belly recently but can’t get back over, so each time he rolls in the night he cries to be put back on his back but then rolls straight back over again🫠🫠 easily 8-10 times last night🙄

Avatar

I agree haha 4 times waking up at night is a good night for me too 😅

Avatar

it never ends! Teeth, toilet training 😭 I gotta do this all again next year as I’m pregnant again fml 😂

Avatar

I definitely think I need to try this with mine because if I have another night like last night I’m gonna leave in the middle of the night and not return 😂😂😮‍💨

Avatar

😭😂😂 no I can’t! Why are babies like this ffs hahaha

Avatar

next year you'll be sleep regression ninja and you won't even notice 😉

UPDATE

my app pinged earlier and said my baby was entering leap 5! Turns out she’s at the fussy stage right now but not only that.. teething has been fucking awful this evening!! 😭 took over an hour to get to sleep as she was in so much pain!!! I feel a long night ahead 🥲

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

I feel like just a milk cow

Hi I have a 16 day old via c section, I'm a FTM never having been around babies before as I am the youngest of my household and from a small family. My husband is fantastic with our little one. But ever since I've had the baby I just feel like the only thing I'm good for is producing milk. I feel disconnected from my husband like the only reason he's around is because am producing milk. We were having some issues before the baby and we're struggling it took a while to feel like he was onboard even though he said he was from the moment we found out. I dunno if I'm feeling like a spear part because I'm lacking confidence with baby or because I feel like he wouldn't mind being a single dad. Is this postpartum hormones or something else?

How long did it take for your child’s circumcision to heal and you could give him a bath?

I’ve just been wiping him down with a fiber wash cloth but I just wanted to know from others experience on how long it took
