Nap help

My 10 week old will NOT nap. We are talking 6 hours plus awake daily. We have tried absolutely everything, contact, sway, shush, sling, dark room, swaddle, white noise, pink noise, red light, pram, car, bouncing, dummy. Literally nothing works. I am beyond frustrated and exhausted. Help!

Mine sometimes refuses too and I put the hairdryer or the hoover on and she closes her eyes almost immediately x

tried both. No luck, she’s literally awake all day and if she does nap its 15 mins. We’re struggling so much with it, truly nothing works

My little boy is the same some days, he has reflux and is in pain. We’ve tried it all too. The only thing that has worked occasionally - and definitely not all the time, is stopping trying to force him and letting him do something that will take his energy up. We let him play on his foil mat and sensory toys. He has been awake this morning since 9 (he was awake 6:30-8:30) and is going to sleep on me now after playing with his sensory things for 1 hour kicking around.

Hang in there, it’s so difficult 🫶

I find letting my little one kick around for a solid hour will tire her out x

Have you tried them in a sling? My son struggles when I first put him in it but is usually asleep within 5 mins. I bounce around a bit when I first put him in to try to settle him.

How often are you feeding? Ours was like this until we extended his feeding times to 3-4 hours with bigger bottles. It’s hard at first and he had plenty of melt downs but you just distract them.
He sleeps for 2 hours in the morning and afternoon now and nearly 10 hours at night (with feeds) at nearly 7 weeks. Everything else we tried before that didn’t work and everyone was always commenting at how alert he was all the time!!

We are on that feeding schedule too but no luck with napping at all 😭

yep, sling doesn’t help. It’s so frustrating

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?
