2 kids in a 2 bed house

Soo we own our home (quite a small 2bed house) with mortgage and currently have one child, wanting another baby. I’m just worried our house is too small and it’s really worrying me tbh. Has anyone else had the same situation and it worked well?!
Or am I being over dramatic
💕

I just don’t think realistically we will be able to move anytime soon. Also aware we’re not getting any younger. Such a hard situation to be in. Thank you for sharing your experience- I hope things have worked out ok now? Xx

will you then have two children in the house? That’s the same as us really. I just am struggling with not having another baby just because of our house size. Surely in today’s situation with house prices etc others must make it work? I’m trying to find positives 🤣 xxx

The problem we have it’s really unlikely we will be able to move anytime soon, our house needs work kinda thing too. Ahh this is hard, and completely why I’ve been worried about it. It’s hard enough with a new baby and a 4 year old let alone being miserable eek xxx

I hope you don’t mind me asking but what’s your living situation like? As in rooms vs kids kinda thing? We have work that needs doing in the house too and just feeling really mixed emotions about everything at the moment with the house- but we know we want another baby so hard xx

We moved into our home in our early 20s... no plans on children ever... then boom ten years later, 2 kids in the space of 18 months.... we live in a 1 bed terraced back to back right now and just can't wait to move. We're hoping that in the next 6 months it will be possible. So yeah, right now we're in a situation of just making do for the best...

The housing situation just seems to be a thing of nightmares at the moment

thank you for sharing. That does sound tough, but I hope it’ll all work out well for you guys moving etc. I think ultimately it hasn’t put anyone else off having another baby so am going to do it. I think we’re lucky in the sense my current bedroom is big enough for the kids to share if needed and me and the husband can have the smaller room. I think you guys have all made it work although harrrrd! There’s no reason we can’t too, and just look at moving in the future maybe? I’m trying to be positive but know it’ll be hard if that makes sense? 🤣 xx

My friend has 3 kids in a 2 bed house - you just make it work x

thank you for sharing! Yeah I’ve been thinking about it and tbh I don’t think it’ll be AS bad as I’ve been worried about as we could always swap bedrooms as ours is bigger than our child’s so that can work better, it’s seeming more positive which is great! Thank you again xx

thank you for sharing this, yeah people just make it work don’t they. And hopefully one day in the future we will be able to afford somewhere bigger 🤞🏻 xx

I shared a room with my sister growing up. 3 bed house 3 kids.

Could you extend the property?

I have a 19 month old and pregnant with my second and they will be sharing a bedroom once baby needs to come out of my room. As someone else said i have a kallax unit for toys in the living room and just use clever storage in the bedroom so it isnt cluttered for example a wardrobe with 2 rails rather then 1 so u only need one, storage boxes to go under the cot etc it is possible to make it work. If u really want another baby i wouldnt not have one because of them having to share a room or space. U can make it work and when ur able to u can move. For the first few months baby can stay in with u anyway and u just adapt xx

Please don't let "stuff" stop you doing what you want with your life.

Does it mean it's harder and you have to be a bit more organised, yes. But there are FAR more important things to worry about.
As long as everyone has a bed and a few toys to call their own, kids don't care 😊

If you have a garden I would focus on getting as much good outdoor play stuff as possible and then outside they go 👋🏻
Unless it's properly freezing or chucking it down(or very hot) the garden will be your best friend 😊

Me and my fiancee have a 6 year old and I'm currently due baby no2 in December. Our house is tiny however we are making our bedroom 2 rooms eventually. You just have to make it work I wouldn't put life choices around it because life isn't supposed to be timed. I would just aim for a bigger house in the future and declutter as much as you can 😊x

Has anyone else had issues with their friends that aren't pregnant or have kids?

I have a friend at work and we've become really close over the years. But ever since I become pregnant she just doesn't understand anything I'm going through which is fine except for the fact that the past few days I have been exhausted physically and socially. We have been helping another friend out for about a month now and we've had to keep him entertained as he's going through a rough time right now and it's drained me socially . my friend at work is frustrated because I'm not talking a lot and I'm exhausted and she doesn't understand why and I'm just curious if anybody else has had issues with friends that are not going to the same thing or have gone through the same thing as you connecting with you because she's literally mad at me. She stopped talking to me at work today and I just don't understand what to do.

STD rates and body count

Saw an interesting video and I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this topic!

So std rates are at an all time high as we all know. Do you think the mindset that body count doesn’t matter has contributed to the significant increase of STDs and HIV?

Secondly if someone says that body count doesn’t matter do you believe they are less likely to practice safe sex compared to people who believe in more traditional values?

I can’t put all the combinations in the poll so feel free to comment just yes/no answers

(If you’re going to reply please keep your responses respectful and polite.)

31 weeks pregnant and lonely

How to deal with loneliness in pregnancy when your boyfriend goes out with his friends drinking 😅🥲 I only have three friends, two are never really free and one lives back in Liverpool and has her own set of friends where she goes to raves and goes on holiday with them lol. My boyfriend is going out soon for the night as it’s sunny and I’ll just be sat here crying like every single time! When does it stop 🤣
