I am probably tempting fate by writing this post but I am roughly 5/6 weeks (haven’t had a dating scan yet) and I feel as though most of my initial symptoms have decreased. No more cramps or back ache, boobs don’t hurt as much, not as bloated etc and I haven’t had even the slightest sniff of nausea or sickness. Most posts I read are people saying they’re already nauseous or have been sick. Am I just maybe in the small percentage of people who haven’t experienced this or should I be concerned?!

With my first pregnancy I had no symptoms at all, it was great (Not so much luck this time round though 😂) .
Some people just get lucky with their symptoms (or lack of!)

Don’t be concerned - enjoy it as long as it lasts! I understand the worry of wanting “proof” you’re pregnant in the early stages but when you start feeling tired and nauseous that quickly wears off. I nicknamed my baby “tiny terrorist” for most of first trimester cos I had it all - food aversion, nausea, fatigue, mood swings. You’re doing great, it’s natural to have these fears but don’t let them consume you.

With my first all I had was sore boobs I had no symptoms at all so don’t worry!

don’t worry and enjoy, im going through a lot sick and nauseous and a nasty husband that don’t believe me

Thanks ladies. I’d read that symptoms fluctuate. Feels impossible not to worry when the vast majority of people are reporting quite severe and consistent symptoms. I guess most mums can only look back on a pregnancy that had minimal symptoms with fondness once the baby is safe and here, in the meantime it’s like - is there anything even in there?!

this is really encouraging, thanks Allie. Hopefully I’m like you in that respect. Time will tell I guess

at this point I’m hoping for my own tiny terrorist so that I stop driving myself mad 😂

don’t worry, it will come! I’m 20 weeks now and every time I think that I’m past the worst, the nickname is earned again, one way or another 😂

Enjoy it while it lasts!
I've had only 2 hours or so of nausea, but I have constant pelvic pressure as a reminder. Which I'm grateful for

My first pregnancy with my little boy I had no nausea at all just a few cramps. This time round I’ve had no cramps and loads of nausea! My boobs have never really been sore in either pregnancy. All people and even all pregnancies are different so try not to worry x

I felt this exact same way when I was early on, I’m now 19 weeks tomorrow and I can honestly say I haven’t really had any symptoms!! The fourth on I got I started to feel some ligament pain and headaches but this wasn’t until at least 12 weeks. Try not to let it worry you, you’ll soon be able to go for an early scan at a private clinic if it helps to put your mind at rest (definitely recommend if you’re an anxious person) ☺️

I never experienced any sickness, experience slight nausea in my first trimester and now I’m in my third, it’s back again but only every now and again. I really wouldn’t worry about it, everyone is different and everyone’s body deals with things differently, everything I watched on TikTok everyone said they felt terrible in first trimester but I actually breezed through mine with no problems 😊

I didn’t get any nausea whatsoever until about 6 weeks 4 days then it hit me hard out of nowhere. There is time!

I didn’t get no sickness or nausea till I was 7 weeks that’s when I found out I was pregnant so I wouldn’t worry but some women don’t get any of it at all count yourself lucky atm haha

I really appreciate your responses, thank you ❤️

Thanks Rea!

I’m around 5w3d and not really having any symptoms either. You aren’t alone! I’ve just been tired, hungry, and peeing a lot

I’m exactly the same actually!

Early reassurance scan booked for Sunday so we shall we see how things are progressing!

hope everything goes well! I’ll be having a scan in October
