Single mums - how do you sleep well alone?

I’m newly out on my own with my babies and the anxiety and fear of someone breaking in or something is seriously large. I want to do my best to protect my babies. Do you have any tips?

I know it’s tough but if we can give birth everything else we can tear it apart… Take one day at a time.
Even my LO is with me all the time

it’s okay to cry it out, write everything down helps get over it. plan things as per baby’s nap

it was my first night alone last night, I have a ring doorbell (out of charge of course) and did leave landing light on. Thank god my baby needs fan sounds on cause it blocked out any old house noises and creaks I usually would have freaked out about. I was so scared but when it came down to it, I was a happy just to have both my babies sleeping in the same room as me. I think I’ll invest in some ring alarms also, might ward off some folk. I have read that fences also lower the risk. It’s just so scary; I know it could happen with a partner in the house too but at least one of you could run off and protect the kids while the other fights

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
