Feeling alone

I don’t know if it’s this area or just being a mum now. Since moving to north Devon and having my little boy I just don’t have a life aside from being a mum and working and just feel so alone. Any kind of ‘friendship’ I seem to make they die off after a few months and never speak again. I am still in contact with old friends but live too far away now to just ‘pop over’. My husband works long days and weekends, generally only gets an hour or so with our boy before he does to bed. I work in a male dominated work place, I’m the only female so no friends to be made there. And having to work from home more now from lack of help from family. I feel like I’m constantly alone and losing my mind taking care of a toddler. I find myself just crying to myself because I literally have no one to talk to. I’m hoping this phase in life will end soon and I will find people I can really connect to at some point, although I’m starting to think I’m just the problem. Sorry everyone for the depressing post, just needed a vent that wasn’t in my own head…

If you need/want someone to talk to just send me a message, I'm kind of in the same boat xx

I'm sorry that you feel this way. How old is your toddler? I have a 7 month old. I do work part time during the week, term time, but I'd be happy to meet up.

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Help

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
