7 wko making horrendous sounds after night time feed

We have a 7 week old who’s generally happy and healthy. He does spit up after feed pretty frequently but he doesn’t seem to mind.
at night, after his 2-3am feed, we burp him swaddle him and put him back in the bassinet. Within 30 min - 1 hr he starts making THE MOST horrendous, blood curdling scary sounds on and off. No one on the second floor of our home can sleep! He’ll also spit up. Usually he sleeps through all of this until about 5:00/5:30am when it wakes him up.

Can’t figure out what it could be?! Again, only happens after the night time feeding. Giving a bottle after breastfeeding seems to help a little but not much.

Anyone has had this experience??

Do you have a video of how it sounds? Does he poop or gassy during these times? I know babies make weird noises while sleeping but not blood curling scary😅

yeah i know what you mean, this isn’t just a “newborns are noisy sleepers” situation I don’t think. I’m going to try and record it tonight

Mine too. Mine does like a gargling / grunt sound. I’m thinking it could be gas. So right now I’m sitting upright for about 45 mins before his swaddle to see if that makes a difference.

My little one did this a couple to nights , I think they are trying to figure out how to poop ?

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Circumcision, please help

I know it can be a really sensitive topic, but I feel really underinformed about whether I should choose to circumcise or not if we end up having a boy.
For context: we are very non-religious, but I worry about the stigma of being non-circumcised when he would start to get interested in dating, navigating cleaning it and the risk of infection especially as he gets older and navigating potty training at daycare and stuff. I also worry about the increased risk of penile cancer. But then I also hate the thought of making my baby go through a major surgery unnecessarily and would prefer for them to make the choice when they are older if they choose to get circumcised.

How did you make your choice? Does anyone regret their choice?
