Is it messed up if I don’t want my mother in law in my labor and delivery room, I would only want my mom and husband.

I don't think that's messed up at all. You want your support and who comforts you the most. I'm the same way, hell I only want my mom, stepdad and husband visiting me in the hospital. They may be the only people who get to meet my baby in the first three weeks of her life if I'm being honest with you. You do what makes you the MOST comfortable.

That’s not messed up. I’m only letting my husband in.
Remember it’s your safe space and your pretty vulnerable at that moment. Choose whoever you want.

I'm in the same situation, my mum is abroad and I only want my husband. We'll have to be pretty straightforward. That's your right to decide who is staying or not, there is no shame or guilt in this. You earned this right!!

I told everyone it's my vag and only my wife will be watching it get ripped apart 🤷♀️ now they've scheduled a c-section so it doesn't matter anyhow but that's a line a drew fast

No that’s not messed up. That’s totally normal to only want your partner and your own mother. Most hospitals only allow two people anyway. Invite her to see the baby in the recovery room, sure yeah. But delivery should be more intimate. I’m personally only having my husband there.
