Weight Check

Lucky!! I couldn't get any growth ultrasound after 35 weeks 😞. Our baby is 6 lbs 3 oz at 35 weeks and induction next week on October 1st!!
I am worried about the weight too! I am taking a lot of insulin and have severe fluid retention lately.

7 pounds at 35 weeks! Doctor hasn’t mentioned induction yet. I’ll definitely bring it up at my appointment today 🤔

nah you are good… my goal was always to get the baby is 6 pounds minimum. That’s a good weight. You are all set!

At 34 weeks baby girl was estimating at about 4.6 pounds. She's projected to be about 7 pounds.

Can I just point out that the baby’s weight by itself doesn’t tell much, without knowing the mom’s weight. My baby is measuring just 5lbs at 35 weeks and while that might sound small compared to a baby that’s 7 or 8lbs at 35 weeks, he is right on for my body because I’m on the small side (90lbs before becoming pregnant). So a 7lbs baby can have different implications for a mom weighing 100lbs vs a mom weighing 150lbs. So if you’re worried that your baby is measuring differently from what you read here, just don’t 😌 Your baby is probably just right for your body size.
