I normal use the Ella’s kitchen don’t judge but I do try an do my own foods blended. I tried broc and carrots the other day and it came out like mushy and bitty. What do I add to it to make it purée? Or can I give it that way? Also can u use a nutri bullet or do I need hand blender.

I’m sure you can give it as it is but if you want to make it smoother you will need to add some liquid. Cool boiled water or breastmilk. I’m sure the nutribullet will work fine if you are making a large enough quantity

I love Ella's kitchen, making carrots to a puree is just too much struggle, I used the stick blender and it worked also put some breast milk in it to be more runny. You can add formula as well.

Nothing wrong with Ellas Kitchen! We have started on them to figure out what shes best with before making batches! I will just use the nutribullet and add boiled water 💗

I’m scared to fry finger foods I’ve just brought some melt in mouth puffs lol. But I’m worried about finger food I don’t know why. Was never with my other two. Did you start with any purees or go straight to finger food?

I no I was like what the heck is this I was scared to give it to him. The pouches are a life saver and so quick an easy I freeze them saves all the mess I just find that they don’t have a big variety for this age more the bigger ages which is annoying x

I know a lot of people judge when you don’t make your own food 🤣 my little one seems to like everything I’ve given him so far lol xx

ah dont listen to them! Whatever works best. Also I think to myself well they wouldnt be sold if they werent okay xxxx

I haven’t started yet but will probably do both side by side for example some mashed broccoli with a stick of broccoli for him to hold and explore. I recommend following Solid Starts on Instagram and downloading their app; they give really good advice on how to serve food to babies for BLW and to minimise choking etc
