Struggling to keep track of kicks/movements

Hi there!

I'm really struggling to keep track of baby's kicks and movements.
I had my midwife appointment yesterday and the baby is head down, butt up high and her face is facing my back, heart rate is normal and strong and nothing to worry about but I'm struggling to keep track of baby's movements, im unsure if it's coz of the position she is in? Or if its coz im used to feeling her move that my head just ignores it.
Got her heartbeat checked today and she's fine FYI but still find it hard to track her movements and don't wanna keep pestering triage.
Any advice?

Im the same boat I have a anterior placenta which doesn't help either I wanted to pester triage as well. I figured out baby pattern he moves on the morning then moves at night
.Somehow at night he kicked down into my cervix. I think if your really worried just call .

For the last day, I’ve started using the app kicks count with a purple foot icon. I too find it hard to track baby’s movement generally, and in particular when I am busy and working.

I don't know how I'd keep on top of tracking it? Mine kicks, wriggles, punches, squirms, hiccups and twists about every other minute - it'd be a full time job tracking it! I try to keep track of longer periods of stillness instead- ie. He's really peaceful at night and late mornings and late afternoons. If those periods go on for a while or he's suddenly still all morning long - that'd be a worry to me. That's just what's working for me though and possibly an alternative way of looking at it?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
