Looking for advice on how to encourage my little girl who is now 9 weeks to increase her bottle size and reduce the amount of feeds..
Currently she is feeding on 4oz /3oz depending.. every 2 hours.. she will stretch the odd occasion to 3 but is a regular 2 hourly feed..
This is becoming soooo draining and is starting to really get me down as anytime I go to do anything or go out anywhere it is making me feel very limited as no sooner have I got out she’s already screaming at the top of her lungs for the milk.. she suffers reflux which I compensate by adding and extra oz in the bottle for if she throws up too much.. she is now starting carobel thickener which will hopefully help with this!
I just really need some advice as I feel there must be someone else that is experiencing or experienced this that may be able to help 😱😔🤞

I’m not sure there is anything you can do, she will have more when she’s ready too some baby’s only want little and often, my baby’s breastfed but feeds every 1.5/2 hours and it’s draining so I feel your pain lol but I have friends who’s baby’s go 3 hours and are breastfed too, I just think every baby’s different. My eldest was formula fed (also on added carobel) and I knew when to up it as he would drain the bottle and still be hungry after but some days would drink less and want more frequently it really varied xx

It could be that the teat is too slow though so she’s getting tired before drinking enough there for getting hungry again sooner, so maybe try that? although if you’re on carobel I’d imagine you’re already using a bigger teat as we had too xx
