Hey everyone, i'm twelve weeks pregnant and struggling with my hormones and pregnancy symptoms. Really not enjoying my job at the moment which is affecting my mood too but I'm getting overly anxious and worried about things which may not need to worry about. Sometimes I have outburst of being overwhelmed and getting upset. Basically writing this to see if I'm not alone in feeling this way and if anyone has felt this way what helped them?

I was feeling like you when my daughter was a newborn, I’m sorry that you feel this way, you are doing an amazing job, if you like to go outside and the weather is good where you live, you can take a walk, do journaling, listen podcast you like, or just music, try to keep your mind busy

I honestly could’ve written this myself. I’ve been feeling so low - I also don’t enjoy my job but I feel like pregnancy hormones have made things much more intense. Reach out to your midwife if you feel it’s getting too much, there should be a perinatal mental health service who can offer support.

Bless you, you're not alone - I have struggled with anxiety through pregnancy, but it passed, hang in there and know you're not alone. I am going in to hospital tomorrow for induction at 41+1 x

My anxiety and depression has never been as bad as since I got pregnant 😥 you’re not alone x

I’m feeling the same I’ve always had anxiety and the past couple of years it has been worse but since my mmc in December it has got extremely worse especially now I’m 10+5 x

Hi I suffer with my mental health too and I’m really struggling with work I feel like I don’t have the mental capacity to be there. I’m full of worry everyday thinking how am I going to afford things etc and it’s eating away at me :( xx

Hey, I’ve been suffering this pregnancy so you’re not alone. I think our IVF experience and other things that have happened during pregnancy so far has finally taken its toll on me and I’m so anxious all the time. I’m waiting for that point when I start to enjoy being pregnant but I’m so scared all the time and creating all these extreme scenarios in my head about what could go wrong. I’m nearly 13 weeks now.

You are definitely not alone and fragile feelings are really normal for everyone. But if it is making you struggle with what you need to do every day then it is best to talk to your doctor or midwife. I am quite stubborn with my mental health my anxiety is dreadful but when it comes to weepiness then that is a bit more of a bother. Xxxx
