My ex lefte before the birth of our daughter, and after finding out she was born came back and was like "i want to be there for you, I'm sorry I said I didn't love you, I don't like being alone" ect and I told him no, we can't be together, you hurt me and its enough stress trying to sort my shit out to begin with. Well he lives four hours away and has only seen her like 6 times since she's been born, and recently he told me he's seeing people and doing all these things for himself now. He pays no child support and never tried to take care of himself when we were together, and I just feel so ridiculous for not leaving him in the first place ya know? Do you ever get over that pain, cuz I really thought we could work through but now I'm seeing him for who he is and it sucks 😞 does it get better? Need some hope for my love life 😂

We broke up before I found out I was pregnant. At first he wanted me to move in and be close. Within a month he had a new GF and was telling her I'm crazy and don't know who the father is. I had a hard time getting over him while I was pregnant. But now that she's born it's getting easier but I still don't know that I'm "over him" officially. I told him with 24 hours notice he can see her unless I have plans. He has only seen her 5 times in about 10 weeks. So every week he doesn't see her is another weak I get turned off because he's not a present father

It gets better. I’m four years removed from my kids dad up and leaving to go to his home state and attempting to cheat when I had an 8week old baby and a 4yo (both his) to take care of. And even now sometimes he will say something (randomly bc I truly don’t even talk to the guy) and I’m like biiiiig cringing at the fact I was ever interested in him in the first place. It’s hilarious now but it definitely used to hurt and cause a lot of stress. The thing that changed how I felt the most was not taking his word for anything, and only going by his actions. Would you believe his words have evolved over the years to sound more emotionally available and yet, his actions are exactly the same? Shocking 😂
