SMP after tax

Trying to work out how much I’ll be getting on SMP after tax. If I usually pay £300 a month tax/NI will I still be paying that on SMP or will it be less? Getting really stressed and not sure how to work it out just want to know exactly how much to expect

I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone but I haven't been paying tax whilst receiving SMP. I didn't during my first mat leave either 😊

You don’t earn enough on SMP to pay tax and NI

SMP does get taxed if you earn over the taxable thresholds in the given tax year. It will be worked out on your total earnings for a tax year so some people won’t earn enough to pay tax but others will. There are calculators online where you can enter in your earnings and it should give you a rough guide of your take home pay- hope that helps.

It depends on how much you've already earned in the tax year so it's quite individual to each person xx

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
