My little one is 10 months old but has eating troubles. Im worried about giving proper solids as he can be iffy with food. Any suggestions as i need to get him onto proper food as he needs more satisfaction from the food he currently eats

We started using the food pouches/ purée LO was eating and knew she liked as the sauce on the pasta and then kind of gradually started adding things/ textures in from that. We also made some tatter tot type things with different veggies that are soft if you break them up but have a crispier outer and gradually she started eating less of the inner and more of the whole thing as a bite. I mean it’s still a gamble as to if she fancies it that day but I think that’s generally babies!! We use lots of recipes from a site called Healthy Little Foodies which has some easy recipe ideas that LO seems to actually like.

I'd start with soft cooked veggies/ overly ripe Bananas etc and work up to more complex food/ harder to eat things. If there's purees that you know he likes, try offering the whole food alongside the puree. So if he likes a carrot puree, steam some carrot sticks until really soft and serve them alongside to help him get used to them. You'd be surprised at what they can eat tbh, my boy still has no teeth and eats the same food as us 95% of the time, I just don't cook with salt or use too much spice. Tonight, we are having spaghetti bolognese, and the only change I'll make for him is to overcook his pasta for him so it's soft enough.
