11 weeks - small blood clots
I've been spotting in and off since the start of pregnancy. Had 4 scans already. The last one was on Wednesday and all looked good.
Today I've gone to the toilet and there's a few dark red small clots.
Should I be concerned, or just part of the bleeding I've already been experiencing?
I've also got a thumping sore head this morning. It's the 1st since being pregnant.
Anyone had similar and been ok? X

Hi lovely . I am 11 weeks also have had bleeding ranging from heavy to light brown and clots . Had 2 scans at epu convinced something was wrong . I have cervical ectopion !? Think I've spelt that right and the bleeding is nt coming from womb or anywhere near baby. So you CAN definitely have bleeding and everything be OK. Epu should see you if you go to GP or midwife x
@Lucy ahhh I had ectropian a couple of years ago actually. I asked recently if it could be this and nobody has been able to (or wanted to) confirm or deny anything. They just stay quite evasive on it
Did you have any tests or checks to confirm thats what it was?
If I knew for sure that's what it was I'd be able to relax a bit. I'm constantly on edge! Xx
I had a smear test about a month ago not realising I was pregnant and since then have been having brown discharge and sometimes bright red blood / pink all sorts nurse at epu had a good look and thought she could see a patch of ectropion but I'm actually waiting for a colposcopy appointment now just to get a closer look at cervix. I have a history in my family of female cancers so they want to be extra sure but all with baby is fine x
