I’m looking for some play ideas I can do with my 14 month old. I had my second daughter 11 days ago and my partner is back to work on Monday. So looking for ideas to keep her entertained during the day. I had an emergency c section and am not healing as fast as I would like so can’t drive anywhere and physical activities are limited for the time being.
What’s everyone’s favourite thing to do with their little ones?

Puree colorful foods and let them finger paint with them
Pouring water in between glasses (with help at 14 mo)
Music time, egg shakers, lay a guitar down in front of them let them play with the strings
Splishy splash, an inch of water in the tub let them sit in it and splash with different balls and ducks floating in it
Drawing with chalk
Reading books
Gardening (I garden he moves dirt around very cute)
Rock exploring (we have some rock patches in our yard and driveway he likes looking at them, throwing them)
Clean up practice - different colors of water on the floor, fun to wipe them up with a cloth, the cloth turns colors and they have an effect on their environment. And now my son is 19 mo and when he makes a mess on the floor I can hand him a towel to clean up. Very helpful, and he thinks it's fun

Thank you ladies. Will give some of these ideas a try
